It's hard to breathe, the body is numb,

I sleep paralysed.
All hope was left to die
In the rays of the setting sun.
Now it's dark in my heart.

I haven't drunk, but I am not really sober,
Seeking a way out of this dream world.
It is filled with gloomy thoughts and cheerless ghosts.
Every breath here is like a poison,

Which gets deep inside
Destroying the mind.

I sleep paralysed.
All hope was left to die
In the rays of the setting sun.
Now it's dark in my heart.

My eyes are closed, but I've never seen so clear.
The real world seems so beautiful from here,
But I look at it through a crack in the closet,
Afraid of the phantom monster to get closer.

It's hard to breathe, the body is numb,
Please, somebody, pinch me, I can't wake up,
Dusk in my eyes.

I sleep paralysed.
All hope was left to die

After a slight moment of relief, it started talking to me again,

“Such a nice move,
So shameless and rude.
Did you really think I am a fool?
You're a crook!

You promised to love me,
To cherish, to look after me,
But instead you just betrayed me
And left me alone to rot in oblivion.

This is so sad,
'Cause you were my best friend,
Who dared to spit in my face.
So watch now how the true king of depression dances...
